This combined 10K\, 5K and 1/ 2-mile fun run is designed to generate interest\, awareness and promote ed ucation about epilepsy\, seizures and SUDEP. To be held on Purple Day® we ekend\, this run is open to participants of all ages and is completely whe elchair and stroller accessible. We welcome sponsors\, business partners\, community activists\, and entertainers to join us in participating in thi s signature event for the Epilepsy Foundation of Northern California in th e Sacramento Region.\nThere is an event for everyone!\nKids 1/2 Mile\n10K Run\nRun/Walk\nAnytime - Virtual 5K/10K Anywhere\n\n\n\nSCHEDULE\n\n\n\n Fri 3/21 @10 AM - Packet Pickup @ Fleet Feet Sacramento\n Sat 3/22 @7 AM - Race Day Registration/Check-in*\n Sat 3/22 @8:15 AM - Kid's Half Mile\n Sat 3/22 @8:25 AM - 10K Start\n Sat 3/22 @8:30 AM - 5K Start\n*Packet P ickup also available @7 AM on Race Day\n\n\n\nCOURSES\n\n\nAll events star t and finish at Crocker Park in front of the Crocker Art Museum. The 5K & 10K courses will take runners and walkers on a scenic route through Old Sa cramento and along the waterfront. Participants will pass by the Tower Bri dge\, Delta King Riverboat\, California State Railroad Museum and Matsui W aterfront Park.\n\n\n\n\n\nPARKING\n\n\nParking is conveniently located at City Lot X at 2nd & N St for $5. Participants can access the parking lot via 3rd St\, turning right onto N St (follow parking signs). Additionally\ , 2 and 3 hour metered street parking surrounding Crocker Park is also ava ilable. The quickest way to pay for parking is through the ParkMobile app. \n\n\n\nPOST-RACE\n\n\nAfter the race\, enjoy light refreshments and make sure to visit our vendor and sponsor booths!\n\n\n\n\nAWARDS\n\n\nAwards f or the 5K and 10K will be presented in the following categories:\n\n1st pl ace overall male and female\n1st - 3rd place in the following age groups: 1-18\, 19 - 34\, 35 - 49\, 50 - 64\, and 65+\n\n\n\nSTROLLERS & DOGS\n\n\n Strollers are permitted in the race. We just ask that you and your bundle of joy start the race in the back of the pack. No scooters\, bikes\, skate s\, skateboards on the course.\n\nOnly service dogs are allowed to partici pate in our event. Unfortunately\, all other dogs are not allowed to parti cipate in the run. Sorry to all of our four legged friends.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\ n \;\nREFUND POLICY\n Unfortunately\, there are no refunds for all rac e entries. Due to the expenses (permits\, insurance\, shirts\, bibs\, etc. ) incurred in advance of the race\, we are unable to offer refunds.
