It is with heavy hearts we share the loss of our devoted intern Thomas. A gentle, kind, and giving spirit, he will be remembered with love by all of us at the Epilepsy Foundation of Northern California.

Thomas served as our Social Media and Program Development Intern since June 2024 in addition to volunteering at events like Family Camp and the Walk for Epilepsy San Francisco.

Thomas was 20 years old when he passed away last month. He was a compassionate young adult living with epilepsy who was diagnosed with infantile spasms as a baby. He had recently been accepted to UCLA, where he planned to study psychology.
